I got into Bolt Action on a whim—I was so deep into Warhammer that I never thought I’d ever go historical. But one day, as a Father’s Day gift, my wife bought me a set of US Airborne. And I fell in love with it. I fell in love with two things: the accuracy and the community. The community in the historical world is so much more welcoming. It’s like hanging out with your grandfathers. (This paints the whole thing as being older than they are. There’s a lot of young people too, but it’s a lot less toxic than some others.)
