Watermark Outline

Below is the full outline for Watermark. I like to work on big paper like this so that I can see the whole book in one glance. I hung this up on the wall behind the computer so that I could refer to it over and over.

Here are some highlights from the outline, and at the bottom of this page you can view the whole thing, up close. You'll have to forgive my handwriting. (Because if you don't forgive me, then you'll go to hell for holding a grudge.)

This was the beginning of the book, and you'll notice that it starts much the same way that Counterfeit does: with the stabbing. Also, you'll see that Baxter meets Alisa.

She is the same character as Nicole from The Counterfeit. In Watermark she was doing much the same thing (money-laundering using an antiques shop as a front), but she was doing it in Utah, and she was a potential love interest for Baxter.

Seebach was a combination of Agent Harrop and Agent Rueben. He was their main contact with the FBI, and was secretly working for Edward.

Let it never be said that I'm not a hopeless romantic. (Kiss??!!)

In this version, they get into the Witness Protection Program because the NOS has raided Eric's apartment, and the FBI sweeps Eric and Rebekah away.

The book ends with Alisa (the Nicole character) turning herself in to the FBI, and setting up a sting operation to catch several NOS members. She's redeemed, some bad guys are caught, and all seems to be well. Then she gets shot by a sniper. To be continued!
