Map of the Paris Catacombs

This is an actual map of the catacombs, made sometime around 1940. These days, you can find better maps, but this is the one that I had in my mind for the book. It's old and crude, and looks very much like a treasure map. (You can find links to some really stellar catacombs maps here. Particularly, look for the one marked as "International Demo". It wasn't created until after The Counterfeit was released, but I wish I'd had it as a resource back then.)
